After brief naps, we set out to see some of the city. Actually, we set out to change Derya's wad of US dollars into Argentine pesos. And then we got something to eat, bringing my empanada count up to...
2 (one beef, one margarita). And I even learned a new word during lunch: apio. I'd never learned this word before because it means celery. Who needs to know that word?
Anyway, we set out toward Puerto Madero... I've got to get going, so I'll let the pics speak for themselves.
This is by the
Puente de la Mujer...
Aboard the
Museo Fragata Sarmiento...
Long naps, followed by dinner at
El Desnivel, a traditional type of Argentine Parilla. An appetizer, two steaks, and a bottle of wine came out to just over $30 USD. And the steaks were really good.
